Between his travels we were able to spend a little time with Uncle Randy, Ryan's younger brother. The boys have grown so much since his last visit in May of 2011, it's like Randy was seeing new kiddos. Especially Aaron. Give me a break, he was just starting to walk that time last year. Now he just runs. Everywhere. All the time.
What a delight to catch a few quick hours before he heads off on his next adventure on the east coast. I know Ryan was really glad to spend some time with his bigger little brother.
{During this picture, Ryan was trying to stand on the tallest part of the grass to gain any height advantage that was possible. I'm not sure it helped, honey.}
One of the things the Shull boys know how to do right is to play. I guess Grandpa Ray must have taught them well. Once Liam knows you are a willing participant in his plans you are a friend for life. Like it or not. And he will keep coming back for more.
Again
and again
and again.
We didn't think of taking any pictures of the kids together until the very last minute before we left for home, so what you get are two tired and uncooperative kids sitting here before you.
You work with what you've got.
Great Grandpa, Aaron, Great Grandpa, Uncle Randy, Ryan, and Liam Shull
The only thing that would have made this day any better would have been having a few of you with us. We are so glad that we have skype to be able to see and talk with you, but sometimes you just want to wrap your arms around a warm body and give a squeeze. These little boys are looking forward to that day.
