I was given an amazing picnic blanket handmade by my cousin Teresa. It came with direct instructions to use it. Scary, I know, especially when you see how beautiful it is.
The weather last week gave us a few moments of pause, and when you are a Mom of two boys you know that this means you HAVE to get out of the house for a little bit. Couple that with the fact that Mommy was sick with a nasty cold, but no one else was sick, we needed something, close to home, shall we say.
Blanket + egg salad sandwiches + broccoli + a Popsicle = picnic time
