The celebration of our Country's Independence began at our cabin with Grandma and Grandpa Dyer. Listening to the rushing waters of the creek, we played, ate, napped, read, and enjoyed one another's company. After resting we drove up and over one mountain and then up a second to join our friends in an evening BBQ. Here we played some more, ate some more, and did a lot of "treasure hunting." (imagine piles and piles of wood, rocks, and other scraps that Liam explored in, not including the "oosters" and chickens to chase around)

Could you find a more idyllic setting to spend the 4th of July? The Keele's Ranch was a perfect place to enjoy the evening: a barn, a corral, a view of the valley... I enjoyed snapping picture of the kids.
