Happy Easter

Easter Sunday has always been busy for our family because it is a work day for Ryan. We are thankful for our Grandparents and their hospitality to allow us and our friends to spend the afternoon, hassle-free, at their home. This year, my grandparents, the Standens and Pastor Steve enjoyed a BBQ linner, Easter Egg Hunt, and, yes, I hate to admit, some basketball. As the children get bigger the day gets to be more important as they begin to understand what the Resurrection of Christ means to them. It is wonderful to hear Liam begin to express a 2 year old's comprehension of Jesus. {As a side note, a little boy ushed Liam in Sunday School and it bothered him enough to talk about it on the car ride home. After our conversation Liam told me that Jesus died for the boys sins, and the boy needs to talk with Jesus. It made me chuckle.}
