In our attempt to make this last summer of Liam being an only child a special summer, (and let me be honest, to motivate me to get off my pregnant kiester and DO something!) we have been planning a few unique activities for us to do. One of those was getting to visit the fire station. Liam's "unca ray" is a firefighter and we had the special treat of going to visit him while he was on duty.
Although Liam loves fire trucks the actual being next to a loud, full-sized fire truck was another thing alltogether! As you can tell from the pictures, he is taking in everything with a slight amount of hesitancy. Sitting inside the firetruck made Liam feel very panicky until we turned off the sirens. Life was much better after this. Liam got to to honk the horn, spray the hose, and saw where the firemen sleep and eat. It was all very exciting for him. Thank you Uncle Raymond for sharing this with us.
