What a blessing to live in a country that is free of persecution, filled with the benifits of a God-given moral compass, and where we still don't deliver mail on Sundays.
We celebrated this year with a weekend at the cabin, and a fabulous BBQ with friends and family on the actual day. We didn't see any fireworks, but we did get to hear them. If that counts for anything? Next year we might make it until it gets dark, but somehow I doubt it!
