We were only able to capture a few pictures before my camera decided to expire. We don't know if it's a battery thing or something more serious. It made me frustrated to have so many gorgeous opportunities for pictures and the camera would turn off every time I would push the button to snap a photo. Argh.
Ryan planned an adventure for us at Angel Island, which included a picnic lunch, hike around the island complete with postcard-worthy views of the city and the Golden Gate bridge, and a ferry ride across the bay. It was memorable, special, and fun for all three of us. Liam loved his backpack carrier that we purchased from REI when we had the 20% off coupon. It was our first time trying out the ride. I loved it. But I didn't have to carry our 23 lb monster! 
Cathryn and I commemorated both of our first mother's day with a picture at church. It's been a pleasure to share so many experiences with her. Who knew how closely our lives would be intertwined.

I can't believe Liam is 23 lbs!!! He IS a little monster. Taeya was just weighed Friday and weighed in at a measly little 21.7 lbs! hahaha Your hair is so cute. Miss you Michaela!!
