Graduation!

No, your eyes are not fooling you. There I am, in full graduation regalia, complete with... (drum roll)... the masters hood. I completed a masters program in Education Leadership and Administration through San Jose State University on May 23. The program was two years, Monday evenings, done with a cohort of professional colleagues. There were 6 of us from Lakewood School who finished together. We had a fun time on Saturday, but, being the second time around, it just didn't hold the same weight as our BA graduations, although it helped bring a sense of completion to our hard work.

Congratulations you smart girl you! I am proud of you! What hard work that must have been to complete your MA while teaching AND having a baby. Thanks for your encouraging post on my blog. Love ya!!
When I was in Boulder, I stayed in an apartment with 4 girls who room together. It brought back so many memories of shared meals, household utensils, conversations, WONDERFUL roommates (like you!) and some not so wonderful ones too. I'm so glad we got to know each other and had the opportunity to live in community with each other.
