Liam and I cleaned out our refridgerator this afternoon. To be precise, I cleaned, he played in the fridge. After opening the produce drawer I looked down and saw Liam eating an apple. Whole. Like an adult! I said, "Liam, you are eating an apple like a grown-up!" He thought that was pretty funny, as did I. He finished the entire thing, and he would have eaten the core if I hadn't taken it away from him. Silly man.
On a side note, our current "Miracle of the Moment" is my baby, not so little any more, is officially walking. He took his first steps at the beginning of April, and has been testing out his feet since then. This week he turned a corner, not literally, because turning continues to be hard for him, but he got over his fears and now walks everytime he needs to go somewhere. He often falls, but it doesn't bother him anymore. I hope to get some video this week and post it.

I LOVE READING YOUR BLOG AND GETTING LITTLE GLIMPSES INTO YOUR LIFE. I AM ALWAYS SO IMPRESSED THAT YOU MAKE TIME TO BLOG REGARDLESS OF YOUR BUSY MOM/TEACHER SCHEDULE.
WE ALSO HAVE HAD SEVERAL APPLE EXPERIENCES. IT IS PRETTY FUNNY TO SEE YOUR LITTLE PEOPLE EATING ON SOMETHING NEARLY HALF THE SIZE OF THEIR FACE. MANY YEARS AGO LIBBY ATE THROUGH AN APPLE, EVEN GOT TO A FEW SEEDS BEFORE I COULD GET IT OUT OF HER HANDS. I HAVE RECOUNTED THIS EXPERIENCE WITH HER AND SHE STILL ASKS ME EVERYTIME SHE EATS AN APPLE WHOLE, DO YOU THINK I WILL EAT THE SEEDS? I HAVE TO ASSURE HER THAT I AM PRETTY SURE SHE WILL KNOW WHEN SHE GETS TO THE SEEDS.
THEY ARE FUN AND FUNNY AND BUSY.
